to find this on pixie's shortlist 09 so shortly after the 'arbeit macht frei' sign was stolen from auschwitz' gates makes the image extra intriguing.
These are the gates in Sachsenhausen Camp near Berlin. I only took the shot, not the sign ..... honest!

heh heh, on the auschwitz gates the sign was half circle shaped (cut into three pieces by the thieves to enable transport).
