I had a similar experience at Bettystown beach on 23rd december. my 4 wheels were sunk...water was right up at the car. Had been trying in vain for over an hour to get help. Was surrounded by a bunch of well meaning commiserators and nay sayers. Me in tears....when out of nowhere appeared my knight in white satin....a real cool dude....fag hanging from the lips and all. he pulled up alongside me and I asked him would he mind rescueing me. Happily he obliged....and he had a big rope in back of his jeep. Minutes later I was driving off happily into the sunset. Moral of the story....sometimes that shot which you are so desperate to get is just not worth the hassle....and also frozen sand is still soft underneath !! !
Thanks John and babarocks . You were lucky your knight showed up babarocks, although i think in these peoples cases, they didnt show up in time. As far as i could see by the time they came back it was too late for any help. Cheers for tellin your story ;)
brillant.....
Thanks bumbleb
