Would agree about the sig alright, but all photos on the blog have this to avoid possible unauthorised use. I try to keep the sig quite minimal. It's happened to me before, so I'm a bit cautious.

That green mark is lens flare & thankfully not a mark on the sensor. There might be a dot or two on the top left that needs cleaning alright.
