While I'm not for smoking that is indeed a great photo.

Ah right... well this particular spot is not in the most scenic of areas to be honest. It's a little oasis of pylon free calm in the midst of an ever growing industrial farming and urban expansion...it's one of the few spots around the area that aren't spoiled with big ugly electricity pylons running across them. Hope your family enjoy their trip...what part of the country are they visiting?

I'm from the states so I don't know the area, my family will be in Ireland this summer though. It is a beautiful shot, it reminds me of my family's farm.

Believe it or not...this is on the Finglas Backroads...from St. Margarets to the North Road (Ashbourne Rd) if you know where that is. In other words about 3 minute drive from Dublin Airport.

Thanks Hauke, It's a relatively old one..old enough for the original to have been lost when my external Hard drive got smashed before I'dhad time to back it up...:-( This was taken down in New Ross at the Choral Festival. It is actually in an outside yard at the back of the pub that has a little roof on it. Smoking obviously is allowed. Again, it's buried in my Flickr....but is still one of my favourite shots to date.

Hey Hauke ;-) Thought I'd give this place a try. My Flickr is just overpopulated with all kinds of shots...so going to try and keep this a bit more organised...;-) Nice to see a friendly face anyway.
