Pictures that have nothing to do with the day job of cutting Expanded Polystyrene foam. Yep, that's the day job.

Thanks Kyle. No, the thing that appears to be standing on the apex of the corner is just a dead fly on the visor ;-)Well spotted. I tried zooming in to see what revs James was doing but it wasn't readable.
Fantastic shot Fran.
Does this count as a self-portrait also?
Dat way dair.
Thanks Shane :)
Love the starburst effect here Fran.
Which way is up again?
Patience isn't my strong suit, I like karting and being able to get close to the action. It's a bonus that I can mix it with my interest in photography.
Thanks for the comment Kyle.
I started sorting through some of the images last night, I'm down to 420ish now. I'm almost sure that I've got some of you (Black plate 88 with a clear visor)I'll probably post the group photos to flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/foamcutter/collections/72157628687158835/ and to the Motorsport Ireland group on FacebookI only use pixie for selected karting/bike images (many images are of the same type, just with a different racer)
great photos fran.
this was my first time racing - any photos of the Bilands (I'm number 88 :) )
Thanks Gerry. It was a fun morning getting shots, pity the sky only improved in the afternoon when it was to late.
Thanks Denis.
Thanks Philip and Brian.I think it was a mixture of snow & ice. The mesh protects the RTE transmitter on the top of Black Mountain (north of Dundalk). The summit was covered in cloud with a very strong wind. When we left we only decended about 50-75m and we were back to green mountainside & hazy sunshine. It was very weird.
Nice elongated shape to this one. Something different from the usual circular ones. Like it.
What a find, great shot.
Thanks Gerry. I was playing with different items to see what results I got. The burning rag was the best of them.
Thanks Gerry & Chris. Lucky to catch the late afternoon sunshine after such a grey and miserable day.
ditto...
great shot !
Thanks for the comments.Hopefully it will be a successful event and raise plenty of money :)
This is just terrific thank you so much
