It's a lot better than it used to be. Years ago it was a dire occasion that always seemed to take place in the pouring rain. There might be something to be said for globlal warming after all.
I'd say that has a lot to do with who you're actually on the ground with.
I think holding activities on the ground can be very nice
I think the festival is very grand . maybe is the same as Chinese Spring festival
The guy in the photo is a Joycean scholar and did a fantasting reading of Ivy Day in the Committe Room. The image in the background is of a promotional handbill for a concert that Joyce played in Pierce street.
