I love the mood in this, the sense of solitariness...The placement of the child on the left and looking right works really well. Black and white tones are good too. If I may make a suggestion, i'd be inclined to crop a little from the right to get rid of the shape in the grass( shore?). I like this, it's got a hint of nostalgia about it.
