'Focus on the Future'
The theme for Engineers Week 2011 is ‘Focus on the Future’ and to mark this, Engineers Ireland is calling on you get out your camera or your mobile phone and capture an engineering image which represents the future.

Take inspiration from inventions which signal how engineering is moving our economy, culture and surroundings towards the future. Your photo can be big or small and relate to any form of engineering whether it’s a medical device, an environmental feature or an everyday household’s gadget, we want to see it!
The Focus on the Future photo competition is open to students as well as the public. The Junior (8-13 years old) and Senior (14-18 years old) categories can be in with the chance to win an Xbox Kinect while the adult category (18 year old +) prize is an Apple iPad.
