The winners of the LookWest.ie & Pix.ie Volvo Ocean Race Festival Photo Competition were announced yesterday evening at a reception in Galway by marine photographer David Branigan and Éamon O’Cuív, Minister for Rural, Community and Gaeltacht Affairs. The reception also marked the opening of a 3 day free exhibition of 100 photographs shortlisted from among the 17,000 pictures uploaded to pix.ie.
The exhibition runs from 10am to 6pm until Sunday 23rd at Merchant’s Hall, 1 Merchant’s Rd, Galway.
