Note: Children under 13 should ask their parent or guardian to join Pixie and enter the competition on their behalf

To celebrate National Heritage Week 2011 the Heritage Council is inviting you to take part in the National Heritage Week Photo Competition. To enter all you need to do is submit an image(s) that you think captures a message or aspect about our heritage and provide a brief caption with your photo in the description.

National Heritage Week is all about Your History, Your Culture and Your Nature and so in keeping with this message photos can be of our natural, cultural or built heritage. What you do and how you do it is up to you. Most of all we’re looking for engaging images of our diverse and rich heritage where photo composition has been considered.

The competition opening date is 20th August and the closing date is 13th September. The winning images in each category will be decided by a panel of heritage experts! Good luck folks!
