Last year the Championship was amazing fun. So many of you voted with your feet and with your cameras. And this year it’s even bigger. Mardyke Sports Ground and Fitzgerald Park in Cork and Merrion Square in Dublin are going to be the epicentres of fun in Ireland for 2 whole weekends.
World Record Attempt
As if the best entertainers on the planet (including football freestylers, cheeky magicians, stand-up comedians, sword swallowers, boxing acrobats and a man with an incredibly hairy chest) wasn't enough, at the Dublin Championship this year we are going to do something completely off the wall (you might want to sit down for this bit)...we are going to break the World Record for the most amount of people bouncing on space hoppers at the same time. Yep space hoppers, which I’m sure a load of you will have stuffed in the corner of your garage somewhere.
It’s going to happen at Merrion Square, Sunday 20th June 2010 at 2pm. The first 1500 people to send an email to worldrecord@spwc.ie will be invited to become part of the Guinness World Record for the most amount of people on Space Hoppers at the same time (and don't worry…we provide the space hoppers).
