How do I change my profile
Photo?
Your profile photo on Pixie is the image that represents "you" to the entire community.
This photo is displayed on your profile and next to each of your comments.
To change or create your profile photo, just follow these easy steps!
- Firstly, ensure that your photo is uploaded (you can't use someone else's photo!)
- Find and click on the photo in your account...
- Click the [Profile Photo] button on the bottom right of the large photo!

Groups contain one or more Pixie members. They are a way of grouping your contacts
into categories. Pixie provides standard groups for you to use and these include
"Family", "Friends", "Work" and "Other".
What if I forget my password?
If you have forgotten your password, don’t panic, we can organise a new one for you.
Click here
to get a new password. Note: We can't send your old password because in order to
protect your privacy, we don't actually store passwords, we only store the "hash"
of it (nerds can read about hashes here).
Can I change my password?
Yes of course! You must be logged in and know your old password. Here's how:
- Login
- Click My Account
- Click the Settings tab
- Click Change Password
- Follow the instructions...
Can I change my username?
No, unfortunately your username cannot be changed...
How do I deactivate my account?
Simply send us an email to
cancel@pix.ie. Make sure the email is sent from the address used when creating your
account and don't forget to include your username.
How many photos can I upload?
We don't limit the number of photos you can upload to Pixie. We do however limit
the amount of transfer (bandwidth) that is consumed each month... Different account
types have different transfer limits or "quotas" and you can view your quota by
visiting the Upload page.
What is my quota?
With each photo you upload, your quota is reduced by the size of the uploaded photo.
Once your entire quota has been used up, you will not be able to upload any more
photos until the quota is reset. Quotas are reset each month and your next reset
date can be found on the Upload page.
How do I get a VIP account?
You can't :) They're invite only...
