Hi danieljordan.
you may well know the area as it's in waterford, the comeragh mountains to be exact. Had a great afternoon up there on saturday last
Wow i really really really like that one, reminds me of home, where did you take it if you don't mind me asking?
Beautiful photo, but the sun reflecting is a tad bright !
Did you ask the Horse to pose for you?
:)
Jeez thats an underfed looking Cow.
Nice!
thanks guys and jenny, i've downloaded picasa 3 and adjusted the contrast but it didn't appear to change much. It was quite foggy in the area today so might go back there on a clearer day
As Joseph said above more contrast will do the trick with this one.
I like this one the best out of all the shots. But as Joseph said a tad overexposed. When starting finding the correct exposure can be a little difficult. i'm realtively new and still find it a bit difficult. When shooting landscapes you could try using a bracketing technique and choose the best exposure from that later so you don't lose a good shot ;)
This is a good photo! Well coposed. I could also increase the contrast a little as it seems a bit faded in the background areas, probably due to haze or fog or the weather.
there is not much contrast and again is slightly overexposed. If you picasa/photoshop it a little just decrease brightness slightly and put up the contrast *slighly*. If you want you could rotate and crop it so that the gorison and treeline are level.
Because you are shooting snowy things, the camera thinks its 'whiter & brighter' than it really is so you have to underexpose slightly
I like this but, the colours are nice but its a little over exposed. maybe up the shutter speed or photosop it to increase contrast
