I will try those suggestions, thanks so much! Admittedly not a fan of the weather at the moment...too much snow!!

you could use a tripod, if it is too dark ... and expose longer. the flash is horrible sometimes. it would be nice, if you hold the smell as well in a photo . i hope we will get a good year for the garden. you never know what the weather will be, because of the climate change. last summer wasn't too bad. we had a lot of strawberries. how is the weather over there at the moment?

how can you take photos at twilight without setting off the flash? I have to set it so the flash is off, but then it ends up looking too dark? In the summer I can manage but winter..not so much!  I love gardening as well. Nothing beats the smell/feel of soil! I'll take home grown veggies over store bought any day!

sunshine outside is important, you need good light, but sometimes to much light takes all the colors away. you get good colors and more structure more when you have a kind of twilight . so as here in a greenhouse. i love to make pictures in my garden , when there is half sunshine, half cloudy or after rain, when sun is coming back. i love flowers and gardening.

Thanks for all of your comments!  It was taken inside of a greenhouse at a farm up the road from where I currently live.  It was on a sunny day, so maybe that helped with the lighting inside the greenhouse? I'm not honestly sure how the lighting works out so well, I don't have enough experience. As for my camera, I am in love with it...I take it everywhere with me!!

thanks! I took this outside my bank, which is in downtown Westerly (R.I., USA). There's pavement all around it.  The branches reminded me of prison bars, kind of like how the tree is imprisoned in pavement.

This kitten was such a blast! I used to call her little franny fun time. She was adopted by the sweetest family.
