Hi, Aw thanks very much. I lived in the blocks to the left, just until i was 5. I can still remember playing out in the field beside us.. I'm still in Ballymun and also have good memories. :)
Love this shot. You've chosen perfect lighting for all your Ballymun photos (for me personaly that is). I lived in a flat for the first 23 years of my life and it's in this pic (lifeshaft on the right, not the one on the edge of the pic but the one just right of centre, top floor, two windows on the right of the liftshaft). I have nothing but good memories and looking out onto sunny days like this was heaven. Thanks for posting all your pics, they're so valuable!!!
I think it's a perfect shot as it shows the Ballymun Flats in the background (which in turn reveals their environmnet). Great shot, well done.
