About:

My name is Barry Whelan. Started photography in Nov '09 after buying a Canon 450D. Now my gear includes a Canon 40D, 17 - 85mm, a 50mm f1.4, and a recently purchased 70 - 200mm f4.

I photograph anything and everything I can, but most of my pictures revolve around local Dublin & Galway music gigs in small & medium sized venues. Trying to get more into sports photography at the moment.

I will throw mine up later, I didn't get many as I nearly had cam knocked out of my hand and my glasses did go flying too but I got them back safely, was rough at the front! I moved to the balcony for the vids.
