Just thought I'd upload another from the Saltees. Afterall I have got 1000's . lol
Mick when you go to the Saltees do you hire one of the boats in Kilmore Quay to bring you out for a few hours. I've often gone fishing from there and he would bring us out that way, but we never got off.
Yeah Brian, we went out with a guy called Declan Bates, he has a couple of boats running trips out to the Saltees everyday. He'll give you a time and collect you at that time. The day we went we left Kilmore at around 11 and he collected us again at around half 4. You should definately pencil it in for next year, well worth a trip out. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Thanks Kathleen, you can get very close, as close as you want really but its not recommended to get too close as you don't want to interfere with nature. The birds are all around you, literally only a couple of feet away.
Wow that is amazing. When we went to watch the sunrise on the Great South Wall in June there were a few Black Guillemots and I could get as close as about 10 feet and thought that was great! Ok my pics were no good but it was great to watch them and listen to them...
