I've been into photography from a very young age but never realised it as a future, Thinking back on the little toy cameras and small cheap film camera i had when i was a child gives me a sense of "belonging" to this art. I am fighting to make this my life and i will suceed, i've never felt so right with something.

That's right. A few were chosen from those who promoted the St. Patricks Festival & the pix.ie photo competition on their blogs / websites / twitter etc. I was one of the lucky few.
thats the first i heard about that :P was it selected photographers that got wrist bands?
That's right Richard. The pix pit or "the cage" as it was lovingly called on the day was just in front of the dignitaries on O'Connell St. It was a bit easier to move around 'till about 11:45 & then the crunch started. He all held our grond & hopefully goet a few good shots.
20 photographer were given wrist bands to get into a special photography area thanks to Marcus arranging it..I think he's talking about that..
