Taken in the War Memorial Gardens, Islandbridge on 18th August - this is Floyd, who was enjoying playing catch in the water with his owner Natasha. Full details of the shot: http://www.ronanpalliser.ie/blog/2009/08/22/fun-in-the-water/

cheers maxikOZi and jackie!
Fantastic shot, it's so hard to get good pics of dogs (especially if my parents one is anything to go by!)
Super shot, love the composition.

brilliant
looking good Floyd!
Haha thats so awesome! Nice one!
Fabulous capture!
SUPERB.
Nice moment, Its strange that the dogs mouth is pretty sharp but then the ball in his mouth is all blurry...
I don't know that the mouth is any sharper than the ball. It could be to do with how the bright yellow converts with the mono conversion maybe?
It's a straight shot in case you think there's some trickery going on :-)
In fact, the original was way underexposed and the white balance was off - I blogged recently how I processed it so you can see that here... http://www.ronanpalliser.ie/blog/2010/08/24/unprocessed-why-i-shoot-raw/
To be honest i had my suspicions :) no offense.
Your blog was well worth the read, i for one will be keeping an eye on it from now on.
