I had it cropped out originally, but then you lost the structure of the steps altogether, and the curve on the left. Oh I dunno...

I'd love to see this in B&W if only because I think there are great tones and textures between the table, towel and instruments that I think would work really well. Super shot though, love the focused (as in, on her work) face of the person!
I dislike little dogs that have been bred for human amusement. That said, this is a super shot. Poor little rat looks terrified!
I just cannot see what is in the focus, sorry.
This one, because it is a little more abstract with the darker background, the sweat in the gloves and it is easier to find the point of focus.

That dog just sets the picture into it's environment.
This is deadly. Poor little thing, but it is the environment shot you need. The tag just makes it a complete picture.
