It must have been a bit hazy but at least you got to see it.I changed my mind and stayed up til half 3 but no luck :-(

It actually started raining at 3 o'clock - I thought that it was hopeless (before 3 the cloud had been patchy and the moon was visible every so often). But I decided to hang on for 15 minutes and got a slight break in the rain and the haze cleared to the point that the red moon was faintly visible to the eye... I would have loved a clear sky... oh well - until 2016 then!
