There are several locations for dead boats in Brittany. This is one of the more popular ones for visitors. AFAIK, no new arrivals any more.

The light was really sharp and hard with this which gave me pretty distinct shadows. I was hoping to get a lighter colour out of the sand on the conversion - I may have to go at it again.

I've been in that boat, or one very like it, with an Olympus SLR and a deep, deep desire to be on dry land. Was a bumpy ride. Would like to do it a day when it's a bit calmer because I just failed to photograph that seastack. It's absolutely massive. No concept of just how big until you're beside it in a comparatively small boat...

Yes. I would have preferred to spend time taking photographs on Watergate but the day I was there I didn't have my camera with me and anyway the waves were non-existant, Plan to go back.

Need also to spend a little more time in northwest Ireland. Clare aside I have never scored any decent surf/wave action there. I've a handful of very average shots from Strandhill but that's it.
