Burlington Plaza. A few things about this building stand out for me, I love the lines, theres a lot of big simple shapes used, I like the colours too, see some of them in the cutting room floor folder. this was speculatively built on 2 sites which were combined. I was previously involved in a number of proposed schemes on the same sites, none of which made the cut. I also watched this building going up as I was involved in a building just up the road and my (then) office is the building in the background of this shot (St.Martin's House) which we refurbished too coincidentally. It was sad to see this building sit vacant for so long, but when I shot it today I noticed a lot of furniture being assembled inside, when I asked one of the guys he told me that Bank Of Ireland are moving there (the building on the right, the left is still available)! I wonder which premises they're vacating!?
